Lumora tournaments
Teams solve a real or simulated company challenge, turn their approach into a working prototype, and defend it in front of a jury.

Competition format
Each stage answers a practical question: who is on your team, what does the company need, what can you build, and why should the jury believe in it?
Use the official competition form and follow the confirmed team-size and eligibility rules.
Read the brief, identify the real user problem, and decide what your solution must achieve.
Design the interface, develop the core experience, test your assumptions, and prepare the demo.
Demonstrate what works, explain your decisions, and answer questions from industry judges.

What teams produce
Your submission should demonstrate how the proposed product solves the case. The exact files and technical requirements are confirmed in each tournament brief.
Enough functionality to demonstrate the core solution.
The problem, target user, design decisions, and expected value.
A focused demonstration followed by the jury’s questions.
Judging lens
Your proposal should respond to the actual need, not just add features.
The prototype should make the central idea visible and testable.
The jury needs to understand why your team selected this approach.
A focused pitch connects the problem, prototype, and expected impact.

A case built on the Capitalist platform: connecting founders with investors. The winning team designed a much shorter path.
Founders struggle to reach the right investor, while investors spend time searching LinkedIn, emails and networking events for promising startups.
RealCoders designed a much shorter path: you join, choose whether you are a founder or an investor, browse startup profiles in a Dealfeed and request an introduction.
They had the next steps mapped too: built-in chat, AI-based investor matching and an analytics dashboard.

A case from the investment world: pull scattered information into one workspace. The winning team showed a working MVP.
In investing the important information is scattered across spreadsheets, emails, documents and notes.
Flux brought it into one workspace: the day starts with a morning brief, the nearest tasks and startup activity are in view, and from there you move into a pipeline of potential investments and a diligence section for evaluating them.
Not only screens: the team wrote both the frontend and the backend, connected a database and demonstrated a working version during the competition.

Tashkent
Eight hours on a live case and a defence in front of judges. The winning team took on the Codigo platform's case.
The platform was still only a place to compete. The brief: figure out where it grows next.
Synapse proposed turning it into somewhere people learn to code, compete and then get hired, all in one place. At the centre is RoboAI Mentor 2.0: rather than only saying whether your code passed, it reads the submission, explains what went wrong and then serves you harder or easier problems based on how you are actually doing.
A product roadmap, a plan for how it makes money, a strategy for bringing in users, three-year financial projections, and a working prototype of the main flow: join a contest, submit a solution, see where you land on the leaderboard.
